Description

Field based research, Pulse Crop Breeding. Responsibilities include: seed cleaning & treatment; weighing, sorting, organizing samples, seed storage maintenance, assist with planting and plot harvest, hand harvesting, threshing plants, picking spikes,other duties as assigned. Overtime work will be required.Must possess a valid class 5G Saskatchewan drivers license;should be able to drive a tractor; must be able to lift up to and including 25 kg. Experience in field crop research is an asset. Must be have or be willing to take WHMIS training. Must possess excellent oral & written communication skills in the English language. Must be motivated, reliable, well organized, able to work in a multi-disciplinary group environment.
