VDC Virtual Data Corp. is currently looking for a Junior Technician whose responsibilities and qualifications will include, but not be limited to:

Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Resolving client support issues, remotely or on-site, in a timely and professional manner
- Plan, schedule and work on client installations/maintenance
- Set up, troubleshoot and/or perform maintenance on client PC hardware/software
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Microsoft Desktop and Server environments
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, Active Directory, Terminal Services, Microsoft Exchange, Quickbooks, Sage
- Network installation including running CAT5 cable, terminating jacks and crimping ends
- Server and Workstation Assembly, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and with others
- Self-motivated, excellent problem solving skills, ability to plan and prioritize, and work efficiently

Education
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to be part of on-call rotation
- Must have valid class 5 drivers license
- Must have vehicle which can be used for service calls when needed
- Must provide criminal record check
