The position is available for someone to work as an assistant in a mortgage brokerage. Experienced in this role or a similar role in a financial institution preferred.
The successful candidate will bve responsible for handling incoming phone calls and managing incoming email for a mortagge brokerage. They will need to perform administrative tasks for the brokerage including collecting loan documents and sending them to the appropriate lenders; book appointments for brokers; prepare thank you cards for closing deals and referral sources; manage a stay in contact program; prepare and distribute weekly rate sheets for brokers; update file status within database and Customer Relationship Management software.
The skills and attributes that are required for this position are: attention to detail; high degree of organization; work well under stressful situations; ability to work on many files at the same time (multi-tasking); energetic and enthusiastic with great telephone manners.
