RECON Job Site Location: PotashCorp of Lanigan, PO Box 3100, Lanigan, SK S0K 2M0, Canada

Position Summary: The slurry trench clamshell crane/chisel operator will perform slurry trench excavation procedures with a duty cycle crane with hydraulic clam shells and batch mixing.

Essential Functions:
Execute slurry trench excavation procedures with a duty cycle crane such as a Liebheer crane with hydraulic clam shells.
Perform work entirely under slurry, the operator must be able to dig in the blind.  
Backfill mixing.
Operate specialty equipment and train others on the proper and safe operation of cranes and clam chisel production.
Troubleshoot clam and chisel productivity issues to resolve them and create solutions to increase productivity and minimize risk.
Perform inspections, develop operating procedures and lift plans as appropriate to support safety
Other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years specialty equipment operator experience using trench crane and clam/chisel related to slurry wall construction required.
Must have a vast knowledge of all aspects of slurry wall construction including slurry excavation procedures with a duty cycle crane such as a Liebheer crane with hydraulic clam shells.
Must be able to travel extensively and the benefits will include per diem and travel expenses
Strong communication skills needed to perform duties safely.
