Looking for full time caregiver to care for 3 children (age group 3-7years).Caregiver is to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, bath, dress and groom the children; prepare age appropriate meals and snacks; read stories, sing songs, play age appropriate games, tend to emotional well being of the child, provide comfort,take to and from appointments, play groups, the park, etc.
Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
Wage is $11.27/hr, 44hours/week, overtime rate of 1.5 times the regular pay for hours worked over 44 a week.Some flexibility is required with start and end times.
Position will be required for 24months.
This position is given preference to Canadians, new immigrants, aboriginals, youth, older workers and people with disabilities.
Education: Completion of secondary school may be required and would be an asset. Completion of a training program in childcare or a related field may be required.
Experience: Childcare or household management experience may be required.
