Position Overview
The Warehouse Labourer will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery in a high-volume and fast paced distribution environment. The warehouse environment is subject to exposure of temperature changes, noise, and moving equipment. This position is required to move heavy items, running fork lifts, pallet jacks or other equipment on occasion, must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 80lbs.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:  
-    Maintain a clean and organized inventory of product.
-    Load and unload in a safe and efficient manner.
-    Utilize computer to look-up information.
-    Communicate positively with supervisors, colleagues and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
-    Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report on any discrepancies
-    Observe all safety procedures, regulations, rules, and instruction in performance of job duties.
-    Housekeeping - Keep warehouse areas organized, swept, clean and hazard free.
-    Follow Company policies and procedures on a daily basis.
-    Perform other duties as required.
-    Operate forklift on palletizing line.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
-    The successful candidate will have:
-    Grade 12 OR GED
-    Valid drivers license class 5
-    Ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift up to 80lbs for extended periods of time.
-    Forklift operation experience and/or ability to obtain certification.
-    Reliable -strict adherence to Company attendance standards.
-    Basic computer skills, math skills, and be good with numbers.
-    Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
-    Must be available weekends on call
