Saskatchewan and Manitoba Region Field Mechanic
Badger Daylighting - North America's largest hydrovac company, specializing in non-destructive excavation, is now seeking an experienced field mechanic for the Saskatchewan and Manitoba area, to be based out of Regina SK.
This individual must possess a Journeyman HET ticket, minimum class 3 Drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract, computer skills.
Oilfield safety tickets which would be beneficial: H2S, First Aid, CSTS, Fall Protection & Confined Space.
Pre-employment drug and alcohol test required.
Responsibilities:
    Provide over the phone technical assistance to Area Managers / Supervisors / Operators
    Perform intermediate level repairs that are required at the area
    Perform annual Badger audits / inspections on all trucks in Saskatchewan and Manitoba
    Ensure all TSBs are performed on trucks in this region
    Routine maintenance (trouble shooting & minor repairs)
    Miscellaneous paperwork / computer work (annual inspection reports, repair notes etc.)
    Be available 24/7 to assist managers with immediate help (Truck stranded, safety concerns, best way to manage incident, etc.)
    Always be spot checking trucks for various maintenance and safety concerns
    Have open communication with Western Canada Fleet Manager, Regional Manager, Service Manager, Area Managers and Alberta / BC HET counterpart.
    Must be able to mentor others.
