The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff the permanent full-time position of Job Developer/Employer Liaison. The start date for this position is Jan. 26th, 2014.
The Job Developer/Employer Liaison will promote immigrant clients as resource for potential employers; identify job opportunities, promote the employment related services of the Regina Open Door Society and build relationships with employers.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in the human services discipline, sales and marketing, communications, public relations or human resources
- Related experience such as employment counseling, recruitment or job coaching
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Experience working with newcomers to Canada including those with limited English language skills
- Strong technological skills; proficient in MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and database
- Solid knowledge of the local labor market, employment standards and community resources
- Must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license. RODS will provide a vehicle for use during working hours for this position
Hours of work:
The standard hours of work are Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., with an EDO every second week. All positions at RODS requires a clean Police Record Check. After successfully completing your probationary period you will be eligible for a 3% pension contribution and a cost shared benefits package.
