Applications are invited for a permanent 25% Educational Assistant position at Wolseley High School commencing January 5, 2015.

Incorporated as a town in 1898, Wolseley has worked diligently on preserving its heritage buildings, including the historic Town Hall/Opera House and Canadas first Beaver Lumber location. Attractions include the Wolseley Sportsplex and Curling Club, the Wolseley Golf Course and its Swinging Bridge, which is built across Fairly Lake.

The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring safety, providing personal care and learning assistance for intensive needs students under the direction of the classroom teacher and student services teacher.  Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with cognitive behavioural issues, as well as personal care responsibilities.  Starting wage is at Step 1 - $18.40 per hour.
