Welder / CWB Level 2 Weld Inspector

Demonstrating technical expertise in welding engineering activities, quality assurance and quality control, our Welder / CWB Level 2 Weld Inspector researches and prepares welding procedure data sheets, develops welder testing protocols and conducts weld inspections.  This position provides training and troubleshooting support on GTAW and GMAW processes.  Our Weld Inspector / Trainer also works with our customer representatives providing explanations of welding practices as required.

Success Requires:  

o Five plus years current Mig and Tig welding experience

o A CWB Welding Inspector Level 2 Certificate.

o Experience in GTAW and GMAW processes in the welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

o Ability to use measurement tools; read and work with production work orders, blueprints, and drawings

o Good working knowledge of material types and data sheets is required

o Excellent organizational and problem solving skills; ability to prioritize and anticipate potential urgencies or setbacks

o Must have strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

o Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative, the ability to work well with others and minimal supervision.
