1. Education: Post-secondary degree preferred with experience in a recycling or production management.
2. Proficient in MS Office
3. People Management
4. Communications skills
5. Experience/training providing support to men and women with intellectual disabilities
6. Mechanical skills would be an asset.
Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity exists to contribute directly to the growth of company's recycling operation in conjunction with a dynamic, dedicated and diverse team.  The Recycling Manager manages the overall operation of Material Recycling Facility.  This includes the receipt and processing of all materials in a safe and efficient manner.  The Manager is responsible for the marketing and shipping of commodities processed in the plant.  This key role ensures that recycling and recovery rates at the MRF are at an optimum, maximizing productivity while meeting quality targets.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and people management skills, autonomy, ability to work under pressure, organizational skills, initiative, reliability and team spirit.  Must be physically fit and accustomed to a fast paced, high volume environment.  The candidate has exceptional communication skills and works well with the Management Team.
