Position Details:
Temporary (Full-Time)
Assignment:
7.5 hours per day
Term:
January 19, 2015 to June 30, 2015
Qualifications:
A post graduate degree, in education and/or a field related to human services, such as: social work or psychology and 3 to 5 years related work experience.
Duties:
Coach teachers and administrators in positive behaviour supports by providing and modelling proactice class-wide management strategies.
Perform classroom observations to identify function of behaviours and patterns, and establish behavioural goals.
Deliver intensive short-term supports for students who struggle behaviourally.
Other duties assigned by the Deputy Director &/or designate.
Salary:
In accordance with the current Out of Scope Salary Grid and Benefit Plan.
