Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator in our Head Office in Regina, SK. The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for planning and administering policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through department supervisors.
Key responsibilities for this position are:
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Recruit, interview, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation .
- Keep records of benefits plans and personnel transactions.
- Coordinate management training in human resources.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Administer performance review program
- Administer salary administration program
- Administer benefits programs
- Conduct wage surveys within labor market
- Prepare reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
- Keep employee OHS committee minutes as well develop and carry out action plan to address items brought up in each meeting

Education, Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Human Resources or Business with relevant courses
- HR experience of 2 years or more at a generalist level
- Flexible and adaptable to new challenges
- Fast learner and attentive to details
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication
- Proven ability to practice a high level of confidentiality in all dealings
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially Excel and Word
