The RN/RPN acting as a Team Leader, carries out administrative, nursing and resident care duties as directed and in compliance with facility philosophy, policies and procedures. Abides by department policies and procedures and interprets them to personnel, residents, medical staff and the public. In the absence of the Resident Care Coordinator, the Team Leader assumes responsibilities for the Resident Care Department.
Education required: Graduate of approved nursing education program and registered with SPNA or RPNAS.
Experience: Long Term Care experience an asset.
