Description

Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon is looking for a creative, community minded communicator to join our team. This is a 1 year maternity leave position.

Key Responsibilities:

-    Execute annual Marketing and Communications plan
-    Implement annual message map
-    Execute ReStore marketing plan, working closely with ReStore manager to increase store traffic and sales
-    Website management and social media management
-    Develop and create collateral documents including annual report, newsletter, presentation materials
-    Develop and create external communication pieces, ensuring all outgoing communications reflect our core values and messaging strategy and are reflective of our brand
-    Public relations
-    Develop print, online, out of home and radio advertisements
-    Develop online content including blogs, video and social media
-    Plan and implement organizations special events (key and dedication ceremonies, volunteer events, etc.)
o    Work alongside committee to plan the annual gala fundraiser
-    Support Resource Development Officer in fundraising initiatives, including online giving and 3rd party fundraisers
-    Administer donor recognition program (including sponsors, donors and in-kind donors)
-    Grant writing and reporting
-    Support Volunteer Coordinator with recruitment and retention
    
Skills and Qualifications
-    Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or a related field
-    Ability to organize and coordinate all marketing and communications operations
-    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-    Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
-    Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
-    Ability to work closely with volunteers and diverse groups of people
-    Valid drivers license and access to transportation
-    Ability to work outside the standard 8:30a to 4:30p hours, and to travel if necessary
