Traffic Supervisors responsibilities include:
Inventory Management of retail gas stations
Load Planning and Order Entry
Assignment and Dispatch of drivers, including equipment assignment
Process driver vehicle inspection reports
Coordinate equipment services and inspections
Monitor driver Hours of Service
Provide a high level of customer service
Ensure safety is at the forefront of all activities
Contribute to overall operation by maximizing efficiencies, equipment utility, and payload
Skills:
Good knowledge of the transportation industry
Experience in bulk and/or hazardous commodities preferred
Experience in a computerized environment
Detail oriented
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision, and managerial skills
Personal transportation required as branch location is outside of city limits
Class 5 drivers license
Exuberant personality to complement an office environment that can be busy, dynamic, and at times, demanding
Educational Requirements:
Grade 12 Diploma or GED required
Two years of related experience or training
