The maintenance/groundskeeper is based in Thompson's Camps in Missinipe, SK from mid-May until the end of September. This position works 50-60 hours per week. Food and accommodations are provided free of charge throughout the duration of the season.
The maintenance / groundskeeper is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the camp cabins, including responding to small maintenance requests, performing the daily garbage run, mowing grass, chopping wood and filling propane tanks. The position is expected to work with management and other employees to develop and implement a camp-wide landscaping and small-project construction plan for the season. The position is also expected to perform other duties around the camp as needed (helping the dock-hands with boats, fish filleting, shuttling, etc.)
