Description

This is a division level management position responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the regional philanthropy department and operational functions.

Provides confidential administrative support to the Provincial Manager and is responsible for the smooth operation of the managers office and the administrative functions of the department's special events and operations within the region.
Essential Duties entail (but not limited to):
Operations:
-Supervises support staff in Regina.
-Liaises with the divisions manager, operations to coordinate national and divisional initiatives and projects.
-Takes minutes, distributes and arranges meeting requirements for the regional board and committees in conjunction with the board chair and local management.
-Liaises with the manager, operations on property and information system related issues.
-Oversees and coordinates maintenance and general upkeep of the Regina office building and equipment.
-Oversees and coordinates the maintenance and upkeep of the Agency vehicles.
-Coordinates and is a representative on the buildings occupational health and safety committee.
-Coordinates the booking of corporate vehicles / building /room resources including scheduling, usage agreements, security and room set up etc.
-Monitors daily cash reports and bank deposits.

Philanthropy:
-In conjunction with the provincial manager, plans and coordinates the work of the regional offices and ensures the support of the departments fundraising objectives is met.
-In conjunction with division department staff, coordinates administration aspects of fundraising special event programs
-Schedules appointments and meetings, make travel arrangements and book appropriate facilities for departmental meetings, committee meetings and senior division development staff.
-must have fundraising or event planning experience
