Job Duties:
AM and/or PM milking. Generally only one or the other, but possibly both in occasional overtime situations. Post-milking wash-up.
- Farm chores including, but not limited to, livestock care, fence repairs, barn cleaning, machinery operation and maintenance (this mostly just means driving the tractor, no particular mechanical knowledge required).
- Assist with starting up a new venture of pasture-raised turkeys and/or rabbits.
- Cleaning cheese-making equipment and facility.
- Packaging cheese and other products made on-farm.
- Selling our products at the Regina Farmers Market.
Requirements:
Physical labour is part of the job.
- Safe Food Handlers Course (a one day program put on by the health region), can be completed after job starts.
- Class 5 (regular vehicles) Drivers License.
$11.00/hour plus on-site accommodation in camper trailer, and meals.
