Touchwood Ranch Ltd, a cattle operation located near Lestock, SK, requires 2 Ranch Foremen to perform the following duties:
-Supervise ranch operations (cow/calf operation & yearlings as well as custom grazing)
-Supervise & train up to 2 ranch labourers, when applicable
-Operate & maintain farm equipment & machinery (seeder, swather, baler, tractors)
-Monitor & manage rotational grazing pastures & herds
-Monitor overall well-being of livestock
-Assist cows with calving
-Supervise the receipt and exit of custom grazed cattle
-Detect, treat (or report) animal health concerns accordingly
Requirements:
-Valid drivers license
-At least 2 years of relevant experience
-Completion of secondary education
-Ability to supervise / work independently
On ranch housing options are available (housing deductions may apply)
