POSITION:
In scope union position responsible for various accounting records of the municipality, providing administrative support to management and other office staff which includes processing of correspondence, document control, processing utility and tax accounts in accordance with policies established by Council and the Chief Administrative Officer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful applicant will have the ability and skills necessary to do municipal accounting, have good communication skills, ability to work with department heads, co-workers and the general public. Ability to learn the current Municipal office accounting software (MuniSoft), use Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Must be bondable.
