Position Description:
Working with the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for bookkeeping and accounting data entry, coordinating donation programs and coordinating volunteers programs. The position is 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day (some flexibility in hours could be arranged).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    Entering day to day transactions into an accounting program.
    Maintain accurate information on our web site.
    Measure and maintain key performance indicators.  
    Ensure all relevant event stakeholders and sponsors are recognized in an appropriate way and in a timely fashion post-event with a written letter of thanks.
    Market exiting & grow new donation revenues.
    Help develop and implement a formalized volunteer program including, recruitment, orientation, recognition and retention of PASPCA volunteers.
    Work with the Executive Director to assess current/future volunteer needs and develop and implement volunteer management plan.

Qualifications and Skills:

    Accounting and bookkeeping
    Above average skills in business programs, writing and copy editing, reports, letters and general announcements.
    Sound knowledge of MS Office, Data Base programs and website experience.
    Outstanding organizational skills.
    Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with individuals at various levels.
    Ability to work independently and as a team member.
    Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle.
    Genuine concern for the welfare of animals.
