The Town of Assiniboia employs permanent individuals within the Department of Parks, Recreation, Culture & Tourism to ensure that green space beautification, town facilities, snow removal, compost processing, playgrounds, parks, sports fields, fairgrounds, boulevards, ditches, untidies, community in bloom, cemetery, campground, tourist destinations, indoor and outdoor rink operations and outdoor aquatic operations are maintained and operational each season.
This is a full time, permanent and unionized position within the Department.
Preference will be given to individuals that have their High School Diploma or GED, possession of 1 related ticket/certificate and some related or transferable skills work experience
A valid driver's licence and a police records check is required.
