The City of Weyburn invites applications for the position of:
          Part Time Seasonal Don Mitchell Paddling Pool Attendant.

The City of Weyburn is a dynamic and progressive municipality located in the heart of Southeast Saskatchewan. The City has a population of over 10,500 and a solid economic and community foundation upon which new opportunities are continuously built.

The Leisure Services Department is offering an exciting summer employment opportunity for two (2) students. The Don Mitchell Paddling Pool Attendant is a key component to the Leisure Services Department as they assist in the smooth operation of Don Mitchell Paddling Pool as well as provide a safe and fun environment for patrons.

The Don Mitchell Paddling Pool Attendant will be responsible to:
- Supervise all patrons utilizing the Don Mitchell Paddling Pool;
- Plan and implement a daily program of activities;
- Administer First Aid, enforce safety policies as well as operating procedure;
- Maintain a positive attitude with public and staff to ensure a harmonious working relationship;
- Assist with pool maintenance and other program services when necessary;
- Report any unsafe condition(s) to Program Coordinator;
- Provide monthly reports on activities and attendance;
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Students hired must be at least 15 years of age, enrolled as a student at a secondary or post secondary school or institution.

Salary will commensurate as per the CUPE Local 90 contract.
