The City of Weyburn invites applications for the position of:
       Full Time Seasonal Parks Worker.

The City of Weyburn is a dynamic and progressive municipality located in the heart of Southeast Saskatchewan. The City has a population of over 10,500 and a solid economic and community foundation upon which new opportunities are continuously built.

The City of Weyburn is currently accepting applications for seasonal full-time employment as a Parks Worker for the upcoming summer season.

Reporting to the Parks Coordinator, the Parks Worker will be responsible for performing maintenance to parks, trails, open spaces, sports fields and other city-owned property. A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required for this position.

Employees will be able (or trained) to operate parks related equipment such as riding mowers, push mowers, trimming tools, and other various equipment as required.

The employee must be able to deal politely and effectively with fellow staff, park users, and the general public.

Starting wage as per the CUPE Local 90 contract.
