Destination Prince Albert provides administration and support for two separate and distinct not for profit organizations, who's work and mandates are similar and aligned to support tourism, marketing and event development and management for Prince Albert. Destination Prince Albert focuses on increasing tourism, and working in collaboration with Community partners to offer increased revenues resulting from event attraction, which in turn enhances economic spends on accommodation, retail products & services and strengthens the City of Prince Albert creating long term potential through increased visitation to the city. The Chief Executive Officer reports to a joint management committee that represents the combined efforts and interests of both the Prince Albert Destination Marketing Fund Board of Directors and the Prince Albert Tourism and Marketing Bureau Board of Directors. This position requires the individual report to each board as their Executive Director. Education: Post secondary education preferably with a business, marketing focus. Experience: Successful candidate will have experience with working with a board of directors, leading sales & marketing initiatives, strong administrative skills, ability to interpret financials and prepare budgets, event management & promotion, building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders & partners, strong written and verbal skills.
