Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a qualified Branch Manager to provide leadership and direction in the areas of strategic planning, operations and marketing.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning and Business Development
- Provide strategic direction, business planning and financial management.
- Evaluate and direct new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain successful relationships.
- Develop new strategies to enhance market share and improve overall performance.

Operations and Productivity
- Management of day to day business and product operations.
- Report on market/sales trends.
- Develop and ensure business controls and processes are in place.
- Establish methods to measure and maintain customer service excellence.

Leadership and Employee Development
- Provide strategic leadership and coaching to employees.
- Develop opportunity assessments, benchmarks and business cases to be presented to the senior management.
- Serve as a strong business leader and role model to coach and inspire employees.

Education & Experience:
- A related degree in business is a definite asset.
- 5+ years general management within the manufacturing industry.

- Sound business acumen.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in managing a manufacturing facility.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed financial targets.

- Strong business leader with the ability to develop/implement strategic plans.
- Supervisory ability; able to motivate employees to excel and work effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organization and time management.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
