Grace Hill Farms Ltd. is currently looking for a Seasonal Farm Production Operator to join our team for full time work during the growing season (could work into year round for right individual). We are a 10,000-acre family-owned certified organic grain farm and seed cleaning operation. If you are interested, we are looking for:
Essential Competencies
- Operate large machinery for field operations to assist in achieving farm goals
- Maintain equipment including daily preventative and repair maintenance
- Maintain building and appearance of farm as assigned
- Obey all safety guidelines
- Able to work in a team environment and independently when required
- Must be able to build and maintain positive working relationships
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must maintain a valid Class 5 driver's licence (class 1A or 3A an asset)
- Experience in grain farming, GPS technology and heavy equipment maintenance preferred
- Ability to work long hours during peak season
- Ability to work in extreme dusty conditions and outside weather conditions
