INNOVATION PLACE is looking for a PROJECT TECHNOLOGIST to work on improvement projects for a variety of commercial workspaces. Key responsibilities include the preparation and management of all CAD drawings, as well as site visits to measure and document details and materials. As the AutoCAD superstar, you will provide support for multiple members of the project management team.

If you are efficient and accurate in all your activities, energized by teamwork and flexible in your interactions with others, you could be the shining light we are looking for.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- high proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp and MS Office software
- working knowledge of various building codes, standards, regulations and good practices related to construction methods and materials
- good working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, keyless entry and building monitoring
- ability to achieve high output by working independently on multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines under pressure
- flexibility to respond to the needs of a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- post-secondary education in architectural technology plus 2- 3 years related experience with emphasis on developing contract document packages including full working drawings and project specifications
