Mitch Contracting Services (see www.mitchscontracting.com) is located at 119 first Ave West, Kindersley, SK, S0L 1S0. Or the shop That is about four (4) miles north of Kindersley Saskatchewan on highway 21 and east 1 mile, which is about two (2) hours south west of Saskatoon.
We have has 2 vacancies for truck drivers. The positions are full time and permanent.
Job duties:
Operate and drive primarily trucks weighing over 4500 kg to transport gravel and contaminated dirt from oil drilling sites
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes,hook ups, etc
Ensure cargo is secured in accordance with safety requirements
Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices
May perform emergency roadside repairs.
Overtime will be required and often weekend work is also required
Job start at 6 am
Sometimes long hours are required and weekend work are required as well
Skills and work experience requirements:
A Class 1 A or Commercial Driver License is required
Clean drivers abstract (no greater than 30 days old)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Fluent in English
Alcohol and drug testing will be requested as some of our job sites in the in fields require drug testing
Must have minimum H2S (Hydrogen Sulphide), eGSO certificates, and First aid
Education:
Grade 12
A Class 1 A or Commercial Driver License is required
Wages and Benefits package being offered:
$24- 28 per hour depends on experience

Overtime of 1,5 times regular wage payable in accordance with SK labour code
