Lloydminster Catholic School Division is accepting applications for a Part-time Accountant. This position is a one-year term with the possibility of moving to a continuing contract. Reporting to the Superintendent of Administration, the accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations, payroll processing, compliance with GAAP and PSAB, financial analysis and reporting following Division policy and procedures in accordance with applicable legislation. This position would appeal to someone seeking part-time work (approx. 70%) as a quality of life there would be some flexibility in scheduling of work.
Qualifications and skills required:
CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA Designation.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in the implementation, use and maintenance of financial software systems.
Understanding of GAAP and PSAB.
Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
