Amec Foster Wheelers Mining business is seeking a Database Coordinator at the KSPC Legacy project site in Bethune, SK. The successful candidate will liaise with the construction management team, home office, engineering support, client personnel and contractors in order to successfully support the commissioning stage of the project. Key Responsibilities
Assigning of A, B, C, and D checklists to equipment tags within Go Completions
Progressing of checksheets  ITRs for commissioning and ensure the associated equipment tags are assigned
Interfacing with commissioning leads on systems, subsystems, equipment types, and drawings associated with equipment tags
Interfacing with EPC contractors engineering to ensure engineering data is updated in accordance with latest revision updates of key documents, i.e. cable schedules, instrument index, line list, etc.
Monitoring the development, population, and maintenance of the completions management system (CMS) database and reviewing current/correct data from engineering and that tags are correctly tied/linked to each subsystem
Maintaining the accuracy of the completions and commissioning handover gates
Managing the overall integrity of the information flying between engineer, construction, contractor, vendor completions/commissioning, and the Go Completions database through equipment tags, identifying project and completions/commissioning expected deliverables
Role Requirements
Extensive database experience
Programming experience with applications developed in Access
Previous experience with databases in a Quality Assurance, Completions, and/or Commissioning environment
A discipline , technical certificate, or Journeyman status is required
Proven leadership and managements skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and organizational skills
