Reporting directly to the Shop Foreman, the Shop Administrator Foreman is a key member of the construction division.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Comply and assist all co-workers with all health and safety requirements, and environmental practices established by Central Paving.
- Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn where and when required
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment for all employees
- Prepare and maintain all paperwork applicable to shop employees and shop foreman
- Process all work orders accordingly and enter information into database
- Train shop staff on shop administration procedures
- Order parts for servicing equipment
- Assist in coordination of shop technicians and mechanics
Job Qualifications
- 3 5 years experience in an administration role working with heavy construction equipment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
