Seasonal Maintenance Personnel

The RM of Frenchman Butte No. 501 is seeking two motivated people to join our Public Works Department. Our RM promotes work/life balance and we are accepting applications for a Full-Time Seasonal Maintenance Personnel Position. This position runs from approximately April 1 to November 1, each year depending on the weather conditions.  The Public Works Department operates Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am  5:00 pm. The RM of Frenchman Butte is progressive and growing, while promoting a positive team environment with the main office located  mile north of Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan.  

    Excellent salary compensation grid (with growth built in) ranging from $18.20 - $25.99 per hour with starting wage depending on the skill set and experience of the applicant.  
    Excellent benefits including Long and Short Term Disability, Extended Health, Dental packages and MEPP Pension Plan.

The successful individual will possess the following attributes:
    A professional, positive and friendly attitude while taking pride in their work;
    Effective skills to work both independently and as part of a team;
    Prior municipal experience being an asset but not a requirement.
    Have the knowledge of the operation of a tractor, rock picker, and mower or willing to learn;
    Be capable of working with minimum supervision;

The successful individual will be involved with the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
    The operation of a tractor, rock picker, backhoe, skid steer, mower or  willing to learn;
      Installing road signs;
        Load, deliver and some installation of culverts;
        Cleaning out culverts;
        Helping in the maintenance of machinery;
