AGI, a leading manufacturer of grain handling, storage and conditioning equipment is currently
seeking an International Technical Support Specialist position reporting to the Technical Support Manager.
Position Summary: To provide on-site technical support of primarily Canadian grain storage projects and with some commitment to International Department projects. This job will require 100+ days of travel per year spent primarily on various job sites overseeing all aspects of the construction process and assuring the highest standard of quality. The ideal candidate has experience in grain storage and grain handling, project management and mechanical aptitude. Domestic and international traveler experience and or multiple language skills preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to Domestic and International projects and customers during the
installation of equipment;
Provide pre and post installation support to all customers regarding equipment function
and operation;
Skills and Competencies:
Sound knowledge base of grain handling, conditioning and storage equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills complimented by excellent accuracy, organization and time management skills
Ideally an experienced traveler, able to travel independently and confidently
Must be able to read AutoCAD and work within AutoCAD
Must be able to work cooperatively with domestic and international as well as the AGI
sales team, divisional manufacturing and engineering resources.
