Great Northern Growers, an established and rapidly expanding Saskatoon based Agri-business is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team.
In this position you will be responsible for all Bookkeeping and Accounting Activities, and will report directly to the General Manager.
Ideally you possess a working knowledge of current accounting software and have a minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience in a high volume sales organization, and have completed a post-secondary Accounting program.
You will be responsible for managing:
Accounts payable and receivable
Payroll, deductions, and benefits
Reconciliations
Financial reporting
Year end and tax remittances
General administration tasks
We are looking for someone with the ability to upgrade our current accounting practices and redefine our bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Specific Job Duties:
Analyze financial documents and reports
Administer employee benefits program
Execute payroll activities
Review accounting records
Set-up and administer accounting systems
Prepare tax returns
Prepare financial statements and reports
Provide business tax advice.
