Riverside Country Club is seeking a professional and friendly face to join our team for the position of Administrative Assistant for the months of March through November. We are a members only Country Club, with 18 holes of golf, a Golf Shop and a Clubhouse dining facility. Job Description
-answering and directing incoming calls, emails and other communication
-maintaining and updating the Clubs website
-publication of member communication(emails, newsletters, social media)
-assisting in accuracy of member accounts in regards to billing and payments
-assisting in the organization of events, including golf tournaments, social events and staff events
-creating, formatting and organizing various files in Word, Excel and Microsoft Publisher
-administrative support for all departments
Job Requirements
-must have your own reliable vehicle, there is no public transportation.
-post secondary education or related work experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
-comfortable knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher is an asset
-some knowledge of the game of golf is an asset, but not required
-customer service oriented
Compensation
-wage of $15/hour
-free parking on location
-April through October lunches are provided through our restaurant
-opportunity to become a year round employee based on available positions
