Description

The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp  Rocanville, located in Southeast Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Mine Electrical Engineer, the student will work closely with other engineering personnel and be actively involved in a wide range of engineering functions including the following; reviewing electrical distribution system designs, assisting with electrical system maintenance and planning and execution, reviewing and supporting arc flash models, providing PLC code design and modification, and providing miscellaneous engineering support as needed.

The successful candidate must be an undergraduate Electrical Engineering student presently in their second or third year of studies.  Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills are required.  A competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and prior knowledge or exposure to electrical distribution system design or maintenance would be an asset.

This temporary role is a full-time position anticipated between May 2015 and August 2015.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
