Description

We have an immediate opening for a Permanent, Full time 3D Designer at Littelfuse. The 3D Designer develops drawings for manufactured products using various drawing and documentation development software. This position is responsible for the provision of clear, accurate and high quality documentation, including drawings, artwork, labels and other tools and files.

Job Responsibilities
    Develop 3D product models using Solid Works and Inventor.
    Develop structural drawing packages and various supporting documents, while ensuring correctness, accuracy and upkeep.
    Develop layouts, schematics and wiring diagrams with input from engineering personnel.
    Assist in ensuring parts will fit with allowance for cabling and minimum clearances.
    Construct as-built drawing packages.
    Develop or assist with the development and production of other documentation as required.

Position Requirements
    Two year Technologist program in a suitable field
    An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered

Skills & Competencies
    Two years experience in mechanical and/or structural 3D modeling is preferred
    Must possess strong understanding of engineering principles within mechanical fields
    Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and possess excellent communication skills
    Must be organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
    Possess ability to take pride in workmanship
    Possess strong eye-hand coordination skills
    Possess a positive, enthusiastic and determined attitude
    Be responsible, reliable, presentable, and trustworthy
    Be customer and results focused
