The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp Allan, located 55km southeast of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Responsible to the Chief Mine Engineer in all aspects of the Mine Engineering Department including ventilation design, rock mechanics, instrumentation selection, installation and data interpretation, mine layout, panel drawing, production scheduling, project management and other duties assigned by the Chief Mine Engineer.
The successful candidate will have a B. Sc. in Mine Engineering or equivalent with some experience in mining, be registered with APEGS and pursuing professional status. Preference will be given to those with an underground mining background. The candidate must also demonstrate willingness to participate in safe operations, be part of a team, have good organizational and time management skills.
The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check. All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
