Description

Museum Assistant tasks are to:
- Assist board and other staff to develop and carry out museum exhibition development and related projects;
-work with Board members and volunteers appropriately to develop and carry out organization programs;
- greet and direct visitors to view exhibitions;
- provide visitor information as required;
- refer visitors to other available community services as necessary;
- maintain and help operate gift store inventory to maximize visitor appreciation and purchases;
- operate and maintain concession to maximize visitor appreciation and purchases;
- operate point of sales terminal and complete end-of-day financial transactions;
- perform exhibition-related tasks;
- present a satisfactory public face of PWSS to the community.
