Description

Michels Canada has an opportunity for experienced CIPP Installation Technicians. Working with a field crew, the CIPP Installation Technicians will perform tasks to install 19,000 feet of water line in Saskatoon, SK. Various job duties include load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas, assists with site layout, assists with assemble and installation of water piping system and pipe liner, inspect work site to determine presence of obstructions and to ensure that lining of pipes can occur, assist with applying pressure in pipe system and observes connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks, physical manual labour, communicate with other crew members to get work completed, and adhere to safety practices and procedures. Work outdoors and in confined spaces. Minimum of 3 months CIPP installation experience required. Experience using CIPP vehicles and equipment such as cleaner and lateral cutting trucks, air compressor and inversion equipment required. Minimum valid Class 3 drivers license with Air Brakes endorsement. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training preferred. Boiler ticket preferred. Must be or become a member of the LIUNA Local Union. Driving record check and drug test required. Benefits include extended healthcare and pension as per union agreement.
