Brandt Tractor is looking for a Purchasing Manager at our Regina Head Office.

Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for the operation of the purchasing department.

Responsibilities include negotiating national contracts with suppliers to obtain the lowest possible cost for the highest possible quality, Working with senior management to develop a standard supply agreement, Participate in cooperative initiatives within the Brandt Group of Companies to leverage common requirements and obtain improved overall value for Brandt, Mentor purchasing staff to ensure that they are effective and efficient and are motivated to achieve results, Work with suppliers, accounts payable and branch management to resolve pricing, delivery, quality or payment concerns with or by suppliers and provide recommendations for improvements in processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Preference will be given to those applicants who have five to ten years experience in a purchasing environment and possess a post-secondary degree in business, or SCMP designation.
