Assistant Farm Manager will assist in the management & production of crops
Key responsibilities:
-lead operator for seeding & harvest
-understand & operate GPS used on various equipment
-assist maintaining crop production records
-supervise & provide guidance to farm employees especially during seeding & harvest
-haul grain & fertilizer throughout season
-work with Shop Foreman in conducting repairs & maintenance on equipment
-other duties as assigned

-problem solving skills with ability to prioritize & adapt to changing situations
-ability & willingness to work extended hours during busy seasons

Qualifications & Experience:
-diploma/degree in Agriculture, Crop Production, or equivalent preferred
-agronomy knowledge & farming experience required
-strong mechanical ability & skills
-class 1 licence preferred, willingness & ability to obtain is required
-supervisory experience an asset
