Description

Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to provide support services in the Environment Lands and Resources Department.  Responsible for assisting the technical staff in preparing and processing agricultural permits, land leases and supporting documentation, wtih optimum acuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications Required:
A) Post-secondary education in office management and or a combination of relevant post-secondary education and experience may be considered
B) Knowledge of effective office procedures, including physical and digital data file management and storage/archival techniques.
C) Understanding of First Nations' government and First Nation's land management.
D) Excellent communication skills to deal effectively, in writing and verbally, with their Supervisor, respective committee, fellow employees, the membership, the lessees/patrons, the general public and external funding agencies.
E) Ability to adhere to deadlines and possess strong time management skills.
F) Ability to interpret funding agreements, program guidelines, band policies and applicable legislations
G) Ability to take direction and work with minimum supervision.
H) Ability to operate a computer, MS Office applications and data base development/management.
I) Well organized, punctual, reliable and adhere to confidentiality principles.
J) A valid driver's license and vehicle.
K) Submission of a criminal records check with application.
L) Submission of a pre-employment drug screen upon commencement of employment.
