The Labour Market Services Branch of the Ministry of the Economy delivers a wide range of programs and services for learners, job seekers and employers to ensure that Saskatchewan's labour force meets the needs of the labour market.
The Estevan/Weyburn Office of Labour Market Services Branch is seeking a student (returning to post-secondary school in the fall) to provide support to the operation of the Resource Centre. This includes interviewing job seekers and employers to determine their needs, providing information and referring them to appropriate resources.
Other duties include assisting clients to complete relevant forms and documents, providing information on employment, training and income support programs, providing information on interviewing, job search skills and resume preparation, assisting clients with self help tools and receiving and posting job orders from employers.
A valid driver's license is required. A good knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Previous office experience and/or working with the public is an asset.
You must be legally entitled to work in Canada and a permanent resident of Saskatchewan (a valid SK health card).
