Position Summary
The position of Personnel Coordinator is responsible for all personnel and crewing duties in the designated location. Duties include recruitment, scheduling training, employee relations and maintaining all new hire/termination procedures to ensure a seamless operation of all service rigs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Review resumes and contact applicants
-Interview, orient and process new hire documentation
-Schedule training and maintain central crew spreadsheet
-Ensure holiday coverage and crew placement as required
-Termination and disciplinary documentation processing
-Answer and manage incoming calls
-Address field personnel concerns and identify areas for improvement
-Demonstrates a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
-Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to high quality products, services and customer satisfaction
-Look for and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and reduce company costs
-Some on call and minimal overtime required
-Additional responsibilities as required

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Grade 12 graduate
-Office Administration diploma is considered an asset
-Oilfield administration or dispatching background an asset
-Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
-Excellent customer service
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
