The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp  Lanigan, located 100km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The Mill Maintenance Mechanical Engineer is an integral team member of the Mill Maintenance Department and is responsible for providing support in completing capital and non-capital projects and for providing engineering support for maintenance work orders as required. Within these projects and work orders, the Mechanical Engineer will be involved in equipment maintenance, repair, design and purchase; budgeting and planning; and data and reporting.

The Mechanical Engineer must possess a bachelors degree from a recognized university in Mechanical Engineering. The incumbent must be eligible (or become eligible) for P. Eng. status in the province of Saskatchewan. The incumbent must possess a mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated interest in tribology, thermography and vibration analysis through coursework or projects.  Experience working in a heavy industrial environment is an asset.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
