SGI is currently looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our Driver Development & Safety Services team as a Driver Examiner in Yorkton.
This is examination work involving assessing applicants for drivers' licences in accordance with standards established with respect to knowledge, vision, driving and physical capabilities. This includes testing applicants for all classes of drivers' licences; i.e. Class 1 (power unit semi-trailer) to Class 7, air brake endorsements and school bus drivers. Work results must adhere to technical, industry, or professional standards and conform to organizational policy where some interpretation of their application may be required. Decisions/actions impact activities within defined programs, projects or services and influence the approaches used to achieve SGI's established objectives. General supervision is received from a District Examiner.
Interested individuals must:
-possess a valid Class 5 drivers licence;
-have (5)five years of Class 5 Canadian driving experience with at least two years of post-Graduated Driver's Licensing (GDL) program driving experience.
