Day & Ross Freight has an immediate opening for a part-time Shunt Driver at our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location.

Position Purpose:
The Shunt Driver will pick up and deliver freight in a timely and efficient manner, transferring freight between terminal locations in order to contribute to the smooth operation.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Shunt Driver Include:
* Backing of trailers into designated areas as requested
* Checking reefer including fuel tank
* Start reefer as required
* Check tires and do circle checks to make sure trailers are fit to move on highway
* Performing and documenting daily pre-trip inspections of the Shunt Truck
* Performing other tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the facility when requested to do so by Shippers and Receivers.

The preferred candidate will be Verifiable with 1.5 years Class 1 Experience and Clean Abstract.
